Hi Ann, this is Marco, from Fortaleza, Brazil. It's just to say that your books have meant a lot to me over the years. Unfortunately, because I live so far away from you, we cannot meet. Still, It would be a dream if I could have a book signed by you one day. Love and peace and sucess for many more years to come! Sincerely yours - Marco.

| It's amazing that several people have posted here lately regarding caring for their mothers. Mine has also recently pulled me back into her life now that she is seriously ill - she has a horrendously co-dependent relationship with my alcoholic younger brother, who is 49 - and she is counting on me to help pull her out of the mess. It's almost as if she's trying to make up for shutting me out by handing me the reins. Just reading that some of you are going through the same difficulties makes it easier. I won't feel so guilty about maintaining a healthy distance while doing what I can for her. Thanks, Ann and all of you! Susan

| Hello, fellow ARFies! Ann, I looked through your photo library of fans and my gosh! You have an INORDINATELY large group of good-looking ARFs. I am not exaggerating. I could tell by reading the posts that your fans were nice but I had no idea they were so attractive! It would be fun to have an ARF convention sometime so we could all meet.

| Hello Ann and all ARF's. It has been so long since I have posted. We have had a rough summer. Mu mother was in a terrible car accident Memorial Day weekend. She was hit by a 20 year old man who was speeding and ran a red light. She is still in a treatment facility. She had several fractures, and we almost lost her few times. She has had three surgeries. My 84 year old father has been staying with me;my parents house had toxic mold, too dangerous to be in the house. My brother in law has been doing major upgrades; the house looks beautiful. DebraLynn, plase take care of yourself, you need to allow yourself to be safe. Boston Bev, could we put my mother in the God Jar? Her name is Joan, and she was the one who got me started on Ann Rule books! Take care everyone. Barbara from SoCal

| Tuvalu sounds intriguing, so I'm writing from there today. It's been a while. Hey, Ann, I have a suggestion for all the stuff you've accumulated (sorry if someone has already stole my thunder and suggested it). Why don't you auction off some of your collectibles and give the money to your favorite causes - pet rescue, victims organizations, etc.? I'm sure a lot of ARFs would be bidding. Hope you're settling in.

glad to hear all is well with ann. i finally have time to read more than the newspaper and people so i am reading kathryn caseys new book Shattered that i ordered because ann recommended it. i also enjoyed lois arquette'sbook. hope everything is ok with you carolyn and all the other arfs i am finally catching up with. i miss heather's garden advice. where are you moving to? sorry my space bar is not working. carleen congradulations to you. yes ann i deal with alot of people even older than me and they are really sweet or really mean and these are gardeners who you think would be nice but not always. even my 92 year old mother who is extremely healthy (she has never been in the hospital except for childbirth) is getting moody. she always said we were so much alike but that i was so much kinder and i am hoping i can start to believe it. she has gone from telling me i should marry s/o to telling my adult children if i marry him she will disinherit me. so anyway we have to live our own lives we all have different issues for different reasons. i was widowed twice and maybe that made me closer to my children. there are alot of women on here who have gone through more than i have and my thoughts are with them.

| Dear Ann, I am a fan and have had the privilege of meeting you sevceral times. I am looking forward to the latest book in Oct. I was very lucky to have a wonderful Mom. She passed away many years ago and I miss her very much. I enjoy hearing how you are doing and wish you well. I can imagine how hard it is to move after being in the same place for many years, I dread the day when it comes. I hope to see you at a signing soon. Best Always, Linda

| Good for you Debra Lynne! It was nice to read you are feeling better. Hang in there girlfriend. You can only do so much. My mother and her husband came to visit me and my youngest sister last month and it was an ordeal. Thank God she decided to go home early. Sad to say that but the truth will set you free. You take care of yourself Debra! Today is the first day of the rest of your life!
