More prayers from Australia going out to Ann, and all others who need them. I do think of you all often.

Things are busy here. University has started back and I am head down in my books. My Dad's brother died a couple of weeks ago and I flew interstate and back in one day for the funeral because my Dad was sick and couldn't go. I feel like I have been playing catch-up ever since. I have had good news too. I was awarded a small scholarship for high academic achievement combined with financial and other disadvantage, the only distance ed student from my uni to get one.

On Wednesday of next week I am performing with the choir I belong to. For the first time I will be sharing some of my story of intimate partner sexual violence (the choir is all women who have been through domestic violence, or supporters, and we use our stories to introduce songs and inform people about the reality of domestic violence). I am really nervous. So far only the choir and my therapist have heard my speech. They all say it is well done so I will have to trust their judgement on that.

Take care all.

Karen, your card arrived today. I have several now and will deliver them next week...wrapped in a pretty purple ribbon w/ a bouquet of ARF flowers in a myriad of tutu colors. Except for the Alaskan plaid. Hard to find wooly plaid blooms.

I apologize if I'm asking a question that's been answered, but I'm having trouble catching up. Was it Pattie that was taking cards to Ann? If so, how do I get one to her? If she needs my email address, the webmaster is more than welcome to give it to her.
Prayers to Ann and her family. I hope that she knows how loved and appreciated she is by all of us.

Hi Pattie- It was simply a miswritten sentence. It should have read: "...divulged when we first learned of Ann's illness". The only important things really are Ann's recovery and our prayers.
